Al and Tip Have Bad Kids Too!

July 4, 2007 / by bigbob47

Remember how the left jumped all over stories about the Bush twins and their party habits?  Seemed like they couldn't talk about it enough. Now Al and Tip Gore face the heat again for another wild child. The dynamic duo that struck out against offensive lyrics and bad conduct have a son that is 24 who appears to have a drug problem. Al Gore III, 24, was pulled over speeding at over 100 miles per hour and found to have less than an ounce of pot on him, and a whole lot of somebody Else's prescription drugs. Now that there is talk of Al running for the Presidency in 2008 this just may become his most " inconvenient truth, " to come out yet.  Let us see how the liberal press handles this one and where it ends up in the New York Times.

Oh no![LOL][LOL] Ah well, Marijuana should be legal anyway. As for the prescription drugs, the name on the bottle didn't say Rush did it...[LOL][LOL] Oh wait, his maid got him those, nevermind..[SMILE]

He shouldn't have had the Prescription drugs though, or been driving so recklessly, I agree there.

his pharmacy was so big I think Rush's maid did her shopping there, at the hybrid drugstore.

Sorry dude. Marijuana shouldn't be legal. Your work in a hospital and you actually believe that? It causes memory loss not to mention the fact that smoking isn't good for anyone to start with. I forgot what else it causes. [TONGUE][TONGUE][ROLLEYES][ROLLEYES] Not really. Nope. Can't agree with you on this one at all.[COOL]

It is far less destructive as far as smoking effects than tobacco, the effects on memory have not been proven to be a "permanent" side effect, and the benefits to those with cancer, aids wasting syndrome, glaucoma and the like are amazing. I have given the pill form of the drug (Marinol) to cancer patients before and seen wonderful results, less request for pain medications that were addictive, increased appitite and decreased depression. An inhaler form is avalible in England and Canada, and it is legal in other countries.

Compaired to alcohol, which makes people impaired, causes accidents, cirrosis and Werinckles encephelopathy, it is like chewing bubble gum.

As a conservative, the decrease in the prison system and court system for this petty, victimless crime could save millions, lowering taxes or could be applied to something useful like say a national healthcare system. Also as a conservative, the idea of less laws on the books restricting actions of individuals, and the increased revenue and business ventures with the use of the non-drug form of the plant, hemp, could give a new crop for many struggling farmers.

Just my overall position on it man. Of course, you have every right to disagree. [SMILE]

Now I like you but we don't agree on much. The argument that marijuana should be legal is a seperate argument from little Al possessing it. Little Al does not suffer from cancer, a need for pain relievers, nor glaucoma, and pot is ILLEGAL!!
If it should be made available for medical or recreational use then so be it, but until then Little Al is a criminal.
And let's not let teh debate diminish the fact that he had another prescription drug and was going 100 mph. That says alot regardless of any amount of pot present, or no pot at all.

Ah, but you missed the most important fact of the story - he was speeding in a hybrid! A real chip off the old blockhead.

They can not control their houses and households, let alone a country with domestic and foreign affairs.
